ASC is a world-leader in providing cutting edge research and technologies for remote monitoring of critical rock excavations for Rad Waste disposal.

• Microseismic, acoustic emission and ultrasonic technologies examine the disturbance and damage evolution caused by the operating conditions of a radioactive waste repository.
• The technologies also provide data for validation of numerical models that predict the effects of the operating conditions over large time scales.
• ASC is involved in international projects at underground facilities around the world and has managed large EC-funded research consortia.
