InSite Waveform Module

The Waveform Module provides visualisation and manual processing of waveform data within seismic events and instruments.

• Instruments can be defined with one to four axes allowing uniaxials, triaxials and quadraxials to be processed.
• Provides easy access to InSite’s event processing functions (e.g. automatic picking, source location, source mechanism, velocity analysis) depending on module permissions.
• Allows the user to easily pick arrival times and amplitudes and to manually adjust them by dragging picking cursors.
• Provides sophisticated automatic arrival-picking algorithms for first-break times and peak amplitudes.
• Provides waveform filtering with user-configurable filters.
• Performs automatic time-domain waveform integration or differentiation to a user-specified particle motion (i.e acceleration, velocity, displacement).
• Provides frequency-domain visualisation and processing functions, and output of time and frequency-domain waveform data to a text-file format.
